We hope you are doing well and looking forward to the summer.
As we prepare for camp, the Culver staff is looking at various ways to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection on campus and within the Culver community. As we stated in our March 18th letter, we have developed protocols to that end. Given the evolving information regarding vaccinations, we have updated our vaccine policy to the following:
With the safety of our campers and staff at the forefront of our decision-making, Culver Summer Schools & Camps is requiring all eligible staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Furthermore, given the FDA’s recent approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12-15, we are strongly encouraging all eligible campers ages 12+ to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
As with all medical issues, if you have any questions or concerns, I recommend that you speak to a medical professional. Also, the FDA website (https://www.fda.gov) is a good resource to find information regarding COVID-19 vaccinations.
