Dear Self-Directing Participants and Employees,

The Arc is making an update to simplify the Evvie timesheet approval process.

Starting September 12, shifts logged in real-time by Employees using the Evvie App (on a mobile device or tablet) will automatically appear in the Evvie Portal in “Approved” status. The Employee does not need to log into the Portal to approve the shift. Only the Participant needs to “Lock Approve” the shift.

If an Employee needs to adjust a shift that is approved automatically, they can still do so in Evvie Portal by selecting “Adjust Shift.” The Participant can also adjust a shift as needed, though the Employee will need to manually approve the adjusted shift in the Evvie Portal.

Shifts created directly in the Evvie Portal will still require manual approval from both the Employee and Participant.

Participants should always review their Employees’ shifts to ensure they are accurate before approving the shifts.
