Update to Tenant Recertifications — What Documents are Required?


An error was made in the previous message regarding the table for tenant files required for recertifications. Below is the correct table.


Following is what OHFA requires in tenant files for LIHTC projects: 

100 % LIHTC

Less Than 100% LIHTC (Market Rate Units)
  • Student Status Certification(s)
  • Any clarification records
  • Annual unit inspection
  • LIHTC Addendum (if a new lease has been signed)
  • SIAS
  • Student Status Certification(s)
  • Income verifications
  • Asset verifications
  • Any clarification records
  • Annual unit inspection(s)
  • TIC
