Who:
Garfield Elementary School Students
What:
Garfield students will present one-thousand hand-made paper cranes to community members to practice and encourage kindness, hope and peace toward others.
Why:
Garfield students, staff and former educators have spent the last few months hand-making one-thousand paper cranes to be distributed to community members. The project commemorates

When/Where:
On Friday, April 5, 2019 Garfield students will visit a number of
Boise locations
presenting their hand-made paper cranes with special messages written inside, to specific groups of people - veterans, the elderly, educators, small business owners, city government leaders/workers, library patrons, college students and refugees.

- 10 a.m., Idaho Veterans Home, 320 Collins Rd., Boise.
- 10:15 a.m., Boise Mayor's Office, 150 N. Capitol, Boise.
- 11:45 a.m., Downtown Boise/The Grove, 601 W. Grove, Boise.
