A Message from Dr. Scott
Dear Archway Trivium Families,
As we began planning for this school year, I could see that many of the challenges would be the challenges commonly seen in a first year school. We placed organizational supports, set goals, and prepared the faculty. I knew that these last couple weeks of the third quarter would feel heavy and would be hard for faculty, parents, and scholars. In a spirit of uplift, let me share some of our success.
- We brought back our major fall community event. The Renaissance Faire has taken the place of our old fall festival and it went off beautifully. (teaser…May will bring a lovely Art Walk)
- Our school expanded by 40%, yet our ESS needs expanded such that the team required a 500% expansion. Despite the immense increase in needs; the team has been able to meet them capably and compassionately.
- Benchmark testing data shows our students are exceeding expectations in both Math and ELA.
- Our school-level Bard competition included the deepest pool of finalists in recent memory.
- We increased teacher pay and were able to add retention bonuses of returning faculty.
There is more I could say, but I will leave the list there. Thank you for your continued support. Thank your for partnering with us. Have a great weekend!
Heartily Devoted,
Clay Scott
Headmaster

Don’t forget to contribute your tax dollars to Trivium through the AZ Public School Tax Credit before you file your 2022 tax returns. The amount you contribute (maximum $200 single filers/$400 married filing jointly) will either be ADDED to your tax refund or used to offset anything you owe to the state of AZ. One of the biggest ways our Tax Credit dollars are used at Archway is to help keep out-of-pocket field trip fees affordable for families!
All Tax Credits contributed by midnight on Monday, March 6 are eligible for 4 Spring Training game tickets to enjoy NEXT FIRDAY EVENING. SPRING BREAK = SPRING TRAINING!
| We are currently at 44% to goal, and below are the current standings for our Dunk a Dean. VOTE TODAY for the Dean you most want to see dunked when we meet our Tax Credit goal!! Spread the news with all your AZ friends and family; they, too, can direct their AZ Public School Tax Credit to Trivium. | |

Please drop off items in the office on Wednesday, March 8. Please clearly mark ALL items with your name. Students my dress in Athletic Wear as outlined in the Family Handbook.
Athletic Practice and Outdoor Field Day Dress Code
Just as ACA provides guidelines for dress code in the classroom, it is important to project the image of professionalism in our athletic attire as well. All shirts worn for athletic practices and field day should be modest, loose fitting, in good repair (no holes, torn sleeves, etc.), should be worn either tucked in or well over the waist of the pants/shorts if not tucked in. No midriffs may be shown. T-shirts are preferred—no tank tops, camisoles, or sports bras may be worn as outer-garments. Sleeveless shirts may be worn if modest. Pants/shorts should be modest and in good repair (no holes, torn sleeves, etc.) No short-shorts or long baggy shorts may be worn. No boxers or undergarments may be visible. Attire should be free of inappropriate messages. Sports team logos (e.g., Diamondbacks, Notre Dame), and apparel brand names (e.g., Adidas, Nike) are acceptable, provided they do not make inappropriate allusions. These guidelines also apply to sweatshirts and jackets that students may wear. Footwear should be athletic in nature: no sandals, open-toed, or platform shoes. Hats and sunscreen may be appropriate if the students will be in the sun. Hat styles should follow the same guidelines as above.
As a reminder, no spectators are allowed on campus unless you are a volunteer who has been Raptor cleared. You must sign up through the sign ups below to volunteer.

Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off/Pick-up | |
With the expansion of Archway and addition of the new building, there are significant changes to the traffic flow for the upcoming school year. Please carefully review the new Archway Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off and Pick-up and reach out with any questions. Taking the time to understand these procedures will help to ensure the safety of our students/staff and a smooth traffic flow.
Carpooling Update: Our east side pick-up lane has had a faster track and will now be our designated carpool lane.
If you have 2 or more Archway ONLY pick-up cards, you will be guided into this fast-track lane for a faster pick-up. Please be sure to have your pick-up cards ready to show our traffic controllers that you are carpooling so they can guide you to the appropriate lane. To maintain the flow of pick-up, others may be directed to the fast-track lane, but carpools will be given priority. Please do not enter the carpool lanes until you are directed to do so.
As a reminder, if you are picking up Middle School students DO NOT ARRIVE to campus before 3:15 PM. This creates significant delays. If you arrive before 3:15, we will ask you to go back into our pick-up lanes and try again.
Please follow the link below to review the DETAILED Archway Traffic Flow Plan and be sure to share this link with anyone authorized to drop-off/pick-up your children.
