Viking and NJ Marine Industry Back Jack

Viking Yachts and the New Jersey marine industry are endorsing Jack Ciattarelli for governor, citing his leadership, policy decisions and support for working families, manufacturers and the state’s boating and fishing industries. The announcement underscores a united effort within the marine community – one that values growth, stability and leadership that understands how vital boating is to New Jersey’s economy and quality of life.

“He’s an incredible leader who truly understands what it takes to keep manufacturing strong in New Jersey,” said Viking President and CEO Pat Healey. “Jack will stand behind our boatbuilders and their families so they can live, work and thrive right here in this great state.”

During his visit to Viking’s New Gretna facility, Ciattarelli met hundreds of boatbuilders as they left for the day, toured the production lines and discussed key issues to protect manufacturing, fight for working families and keep jobs in New Jersey. Healey highlighted the strength and diversity of Viking’s workforce, noting that many of its boatbuilders are second- and third-generation employees from Hispanic American and Vietnamese American families.

The endorsement reflects a broad coalition of support from the state’s marine businesses and organizations, including the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey, recognizing his consistent advocacy on key issues such as offshore wind, waterways, fisheries and manufacturing growth.

“Jack has proven himself a steadfast ally, committed to strengthening our businesses, supporting our workforce and protecting New Jersey’s waterways and fisheries,” said Melissa Danko, executive director of the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey.
