-

Please have patience when at packet pickup
so we can ensure getting the proper items to you.

VIRTUAL race packets have been mailed to ALL virtual participants thru Nov 22nd registration to the address noted in their registration. Each virtual registrant was emailed the shipping/tracking info to the email that was used to register.
Please note: You must have a bib to participate. It is bad form and considered banditting if you do not have a bib. Just don't do it. It puts the entire event, its insurances, permits and other athletes at risk. Just don't do it. In addition, please do not give your bib to someone else. This too is poor form and puts the event and athletes at risk should something happen. Calling the family of the person who gave you their bib isn't the best call we like to make if something happened to them. In addition it does cause errors in the results. Again, just don't do it.
Switching Events: This is highly discouraged, but if we are able and we can not guarantee it is doable, you will need to do it at packet pickup at the Armory. This can not be done on race day.
Forgetting Your Bib: Please bring your bib to race day otherwise there is a $5 processing fee for a new one. ProTip: Pin it to the shirt you are wearing on race day the night before so you have it one when you arrive to the race site.

The Busses are a Complimentary Service Courtesy of Fleet Feet and
Sponsored by fairlife
If you plan on taking the bus please read this as some of it is new from past years
Parking: If you do plan on parking at park - get there by 8:30AM before roads start closing.
- There is NO PARKING at Parkview Lodge Lot - busses must be able to come in and out of here
- There is parking at the following lots below until the roads close or lots are full. We encourage you to take advantage of these lots. You can come and tailgate pre trot.
- The lot by Holt Lodge (across from Parkview Lodge)
- The Pier Lot on Lake (caution walking to park from these locales)
- The White House Lot on Lake (caution walking to park from these locales)
- The 2 Kanatota Lots on Lake (caution walking to park from these locales)
-
There is a map of the parking areas on the website here - the areas Marked with a P for Parking is where you can park if by 8:30AM or until lots are full
Shuttle Bus Information
Few new things related to the buses this year.
- No strollers on the bus
- Be nice to every bus driver as they are working swiftly to get you to and from the park. Patience is key. It's Thanksgiving, be thankful we all can play at the park
- Bus pickup is from Willink Middle School (900 Publishers Pkwy, Webster, NY 14580) AND Thomas HS (800 Five Mile Line Rd, Webster, NY 14580) ONLY - Please carpool to those lots
- The buses will start rolling out at 8AM to bring you to the race site. It is your responsibility to arrive early to get on the bus. The final bus will leave both these locales at 9:45AM, although this is a very tight timeline to get to the start on time. So in a nutshell, get to the busses as early as possible, ideally by 8:30AM. Frankly, get there closer to 8AM. Do NOT WAIT to get on a bus.
- After the race, the buses will start rolling out of the Holt Road/Parkview Lodge Parking area once the race ends so we encourage you to head straight to the busses post race. This is the same spot you got dropped off. Please remain calm, have patience and listen to the bus drivers. Be sure to get into an orderly line to load the busses and listen to instructions. Smile, have fun, share trot stories while on line.
- Be nice to the bus drivers, they are doing everything in their power to get you to where you need to go quickly.
- Be neat and don't leave litter on the bus
- Enjoy the ride to and from the park!!

The race started in 1972 and from its inception had a following of “streakers” who did every one. One of whom was Jim Hendy, he is one who simply loved this race, his son Robert Hendy ran for race creator Jim May, and when Jim Hendy passed a few years back he wanted to be buried at the cemetery on course. Each year during the race his family stops by to say hello. In honor of Jim Hendy and his love for trot, we retired Bib 1972 in honor of him. This is this year’s 1972 bib that resides in Ellen’s (Co-Race Director/Wife of Boots (David Boutillier)) Office on her wall with the others.
