We hope this message finds you well. On Tuesday, the Beth Jacob Covid Committee came together and made the following updates to Beth Jacob's COVID policy. After a series of conversations, it is believed that this is the next step in moving forward while still keeping our community safe. Should you have questions or comments, please reach out to our current Co-Presidents, Neil Moses-Zirkes & Robert Goffman, and President-Elect, Orit Ackerman, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Covid Mask & Vaccine Updates
Masks are still required. While N95 or KN94 masks are still recommended, they will not be the only acceptable masks.
Vaccine records will no longer be collected and/or tracked at the door. It is an expectation of anyone coming into Beth Jacob to be vaccinated (and boosted if eligible), but we will be returning to the honor system we used last summer.
Beth Jacob follows MDH recommendations which state:
If a member have been in close contact to a COVID+ person and they are fully vaccinated, no quarantine is required. However the exposed person should get tested 5-7 days after the exposure, continue monitoring for symptoms, and continue wearing masks.
