To Our Valued Massachusetts Agents,
We have been closely monitoring the path and projected strength of Hurricane Lee. The National Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for coastal areas of Massachusetts.
Binding authority for any Homeowners product, Dwelling Fire, Commercial Property and the adding of comprehensive coverages to existing vehicles for both Personal and Commercial Lines Automobile policies is currently suspended for the following counties:
Barnstable
Bristol
Dukes
Essex
NEW: Nantucket
Norfolk (Coastal Norfolk)
Suffolk
Plymouth
We will continue to monitor the storm for any changes. In the event that a Storm Watch or Warning is issued for either a Tropical Storm or Hurricane that impacts other areas of the state, this will serve as a reminder that your ability to bind coverage, or increase property coverage limits, is also suspended for risks located in any such impacted area.
The company will notify you when binding authority is reinstated.
