Fall Conferences

Parkway will be holding its fall conferences on Thursday, October 10, and Tuesday, October 15, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Conferences are a great time to visit with your student's teachers about how the school year is going so far.

At the middle school level, conferences are a pop-in event. You show up and find time to meet with each of your student's teachers separately during your visit. Basecamp (sixth-grade) will be in the media center, specialists (electives) will be in the cafeteria , and Tree House and North Shore (seventh- and eighth-grade) teachers will be available in the gym and cafeteria. We look forward to seeing you there.
EDL Delayed

The start date for Extended Day for Learning (EDL) has been moved back two weeks due to a statewide shortage of bus drivers. The revised start date for EDL programs will be the week of Oct. 21, and it will end the week of May 11. The original start date for EDL programs was the week of Oct. 7.

To fulfill the focused, alternative learning opportunities that EDL provides to support student achievement, we have added a week of EDL programming in May.

We are optimistic that bus drivers can be found within the next couple of weeks to provide EDL transportation. Our Transportation Department is working hard to secure additional contracts with other transportation vendors for the revised start of EDL. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause. If you have questions, please contact the Department of Alternative Education at 651-744-8020.
Mental Health Services at Parkway

New this year--Parkway has mental health services on-site and during the school day! The goal of school-based mental health services is to support students who may be experiencing things that are getting in the way of school success, like anger, worry, trauma, conflict, or sadness. If you think your child would benefit from this individual support, please contact a Parkway counselor or social worker.
Parkway PTO
About the PTO

The Parkway PTO is a group of Parkway parents that join together to serve as an avenue for parents, students, teachers, and Parkway staff to come together and share their opinions and concerns in order to enhance the educational quality and learning experience of the students.

The participation and involvement of all parents, students, staff, and teachers is highly encouraged and welcomed.
