Important Reminder Regarding Updated Homeownership Program Income Limits
We would like to remind all lenders that TSAHC's Government & Conventional income and purchase price limits were updated on Monday, May 24th. These changes apply to all reservations made on and after May 24th.

Please note: Many of the county income limits went down this year so please make sure to check your pipeline to ensure your home buyers still qualify. Remember that a purchase contract is required to make a new reservation.
TSAHC Receives $5,000 Grant from Insperity
TSAHC recently received a $5,000 grant from Insperity in support of our Texas Supportive Housing Institute, a TSAHC initiative that provides nonprofit developers with the information, resources, and tools they need to create successful permanent supportive housing projects in their communities.

With this grant, Insperity is supporting programs that help vulnerable Texas residents lead healthier and more stable lives.

Thank you Insperity for your continued support of TSAHC and our programs!

Based in Austin, Lemuel is the current Managing Director of CTX Asset Management. In this role, he identifies investment opportunities within early-stage cybersecurity companies. Mr. Williams also serves as the Secretary of the Audit Committee for Amplify Credit Union's Board of Directors.

Below are May 2021 excerpts from On the House, a blog TSAHC launched in 2014 on affordable housing topics. In June 2020, we launched a podcast as part of our blog. We invite you to drop by On the House or listen to our podcasts as we explore important issues, provide an inside look into our programs, and share other valuable resources.
Recognizing Inspiring Innovations in Affordable Housing
As home prices and rents continue to escalate, innovations that drive down the cost of housing are more important than ever. Since 2019, Ivory Innovations — a Utah-based organization that brings together stakeholders to advance solutions to the national housing affordability crisis — has recognized housing innovation through its Ivory Prize for Housing Affordability awards.
How to Submit a Competitive Offer in a Seller’s Market
Low interest rates combined with limited housing inventory are creating unprecedented demand for single family homes. With more interested buyers than available homes, sellers are often receiving multiple offers, leading to bidding wars and increased home prices.

But while simply outbidding the competition is not an option for most, there are other things you can do to help your offer stand out.
Showing Appreciation for Texas Teachers Now and Always
In commemoration of Teacher's Appreciation Week, we'd like to acknowledge the adaptability, dedication, and creativity that our school teachers have continued to exhibit throughout this pandemic. With the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines and the return to in-person schooling, our educators have creatively balanced the health and safety of themselves and our children with the need for an educational and engaging school day.
