Success Story

Catholic Charities of New York - A now 18-year-old female from Honduras was reunited with her parents in 2014, following a 10-year separation. Catholic Charities of New York provided post release service immediately following reunification until the youth's recent 18 th birthday. The youth completed high school and is currently attending community college, pursuing a degree in nursing. She has an immigration lawyer and continues to work on her immigration case. The youth has adjusted well to her new country and is very happy to be with her family.
