Dear Girl Scout Volunteer,
Effective today, May 1, GSKSMO will no longer require face masks to be worn for all Girl Scout activities. Instead, girls and volunteers should follow the local mask requirements where their activity is taking place.
How this impacts our camp properties
Camp Tongawood- all mask ordinances within Leavenworth County and Tonganoxie have expired.
Camp Prairie Schooner - KCMO updated their mask policy saying that masks are not required outdoors however they are still required indoors at public accommodations. Masks still need to be worn indoors, which includes Neal Lodge, the Trail Center, etc. This ordinance is set to expire on May 28 unless extended by county after evaluation of COVID cases at that time.
