Join the National Down Syndrome Congress for a one-day conference designed for educators working to enhance outcomes for their students with Down syndrome, autism, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.


The Educators Conference provides hands-on, research-based strategies that general and special education teachers, as well as all education professionals, can immediately implement to better support their students.


Attendees will leave equipped with ideas, tips, strategies, tools, and solutions that they can implement in the classroom.


  • Addressing BEHAVIOR through effective strategies
  • Literacy strategies to facilitate READING DEVELOPMENT
  • Strategies for ACCESS for all
  • Integrating ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE in learning
  • Planning and designing CURRICULUM
  • MEDICAL IMPLICATIONS in the classroom
  • Strategies for MATHEMATIC INSTRUCTION

as part of the National Down Syndrome Congress Annual Convention


Practical in nature, this conference will engage participants in identifying and implementing strategies applicable to K-12 classrooms. Discussions will provide strategies for educators to enhance instruction through effective reading interventions, differentiated and universally designed curriculum, technology, and behavioral practices. Attendees will leave equipped with ideas, tips, strategies, tools, and solutions that they can implement in the classroom.

Registration information:



$150 (scholarships available) per registrant includes:

· Certificate of attendance (7 professional hours)

· Breakfast and lunch

· Optional 0.6 CEUS for $30

The Magic of Inclusion continues into the summer! In partnership with the Orlando Magic and our Inclusion Champion of the Year program, we are able to extend a limited number of partial scholarships towards registration to the Educators Conference. If you cannot attend due to financial constraints, please email Camille.Gardiner@DSFFlorida.org with your name, where you teach and how much assistance you would need to attend the conference.
