Financial Assistance

Limb loss individuals can still apply for financial assistance to help offset their travel and lodging expenses (up to $950 USD). Click below to fill out your financial assistance application. Applications will be processed in the order they were received.  We are less than 2 months away so if you are thinking about applying for assistance, please do it ASAP.  PLEASE NOTE: You will still need to register for the conference through Eventbrite so please make sure to read the registration section above. Follow up emails and phone calls may be necessary. Please contact Julie Klarich or Shawn Johnson with any questions.

We need your help!
Please consider sponsoring individuals  missing both arms to attend Skills for Life.

UPDATE: Thank you to all for the generous donations since the last email blast!  We are currently no longer on a waiting list, but we continue to receive scholarship requests every week.  Currently, we have enough funds to help another 5-6 individuals, but will need to go back on a waiting list after that.  If you know anyone looking for a good cause, please share Enhancing Skills for Life with them as we really don't want to turn anyone away if possible.  The average costs for an attendee to come to this conference typically runs anywhere from $800-1400. Some limb loss individuals require a companion to accompany them and their airfare is not calculated into these costs. Our hope is to offset as much of the expenses for the limb loss individuals as possible so that finances are not a barrier for them to attend. As a thank you for your support of our limb loss attendees, you will be recognized in our program as well as the opening ceremony and you will also receive an "SFL HERO" ribbon/pin to proudly display at the conference.

CLICK HERE to donate so that individuals missing both arms have the opportunity to attend this life changing event.

Any donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated!
