Updated Guidelines for RAPS Staff and Students
Beginning Monday, January 17, 2022

Quarantining Guidelines for RAPS: You quarantine when you might have been exposed to COVID-19. This is because you might become infected with COVID-19 and could spread COVID-19 to others.

Close Contacts at School (both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals):
  1. May return but must wear a mask.
  2. They must be symptom-free.
  3. They must agree to have a rapid test after 4 days. Students will need to have a signed authorization allowing the school to test.  Without permission to test, staff and students will be expected to quarantine at home for 10 days.

Household Close Contact:
  1. Must quarantine 6 days out of school. Exception: If vaccinated or had a positive COVID test in the last 90 days,  they may stay in school wearing a mask.
  2. May return to school on Day 7 if they test negative and wear a mask.

Isolation Guidelines for RAPS Students: You isolate when you are already infected with COVID-19 and have tested positive, even if you do not have symptoms. Isolation is used to separate people who are infected with COVID-19 from those who are not infected.

Covid Positive Student:
  • Isolate (at home) for 10 days from onset of symptoms or positive test if asymptomatic.
