Soul Lightening International
Safe Practice Guidelines
To minimize the health risks of COVID-19, the following guidelines apply to all Soul Lightening® International faculty, skilled touch practitioners, and students. These standards are minimum requirements.
Faculty, practitioners and students are responsible for knowing and adhering to all U.S. local, state and federal regulations, or, international health policies pertinent to reducing disease transmission that are in effect where they meet on each day of face-to-face interaction.

No one may attend an in-person class, or a skilled touch practitioner session if:

  • the individual has pending test results for COVID-19, or has been exposed to someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19

  • if the individual has a fever >99.9°F

  • if exhibiting any of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny nose, nausea or diarrhea - we require a negative Covid test result prior to attending.

Faculty and skilled touch practitioners will follow CDC and FSMTB (Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards) guidelines regarding cleaning and disinfecting of high touch surfaces, and treatment tables. Clean linens will be used for each individual session.

This agreement is to be signed* by the student upon class registration.

By signing this form:

I understand that, because acupressure involves touch and close physical proximity over an extended period of time, there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19. I attest that I have read the Safe Practice Policy for Soul Lightening International. I am aware of the potential risks and give consent to receive bodywork. I agree to release Soul Lightening International of all liability for potential exposure to infectious disease.

*(Agreement is provided by checking the Yes box following this statement on the registration page.)
