Updated Telehealth & Virtual Services Guide
A new Telehealth & Virtual Services Guide is now available on the QualChoice.com Forms page. This guide provides valuable information and instructions on telemedicine, virtual check-ins and e-visits.
COVID Update Effective June 1, 2021
The public health emergency in Arkansas ended effective May 30, 2021.All QualChoice policies and procedures have now reverted to the state they were in prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. This change became effective on June 1, 2021. Some items that are impacted by this change are as follows:
 
  • Billing of telehealth services
  • Physical, occupational, and speech therapy services
  • Out-of-network benefits
  • Authorization requirements
  • Additional supplemental benefits

Updated MCG Guidelines
As of July 1, 2021, QualChoice is now following the 25th edition of the MCG Health clinical criteria guidelines. Many of this year’s updates help clinicians address the challenges of providing equitable healthcare and manage persistent high volumes of COVID-19 patients.
