FOOD BUCKET COLLECTION - The Holston Annual Conference Hands On Mission Project for 2019 is providing food buckets for the Ishe Anesu Project for Underprivileged Children in Zimbabwe. Concord will be providing 40 food buckets. Stop by one of the collection tables on Sunday, May 19, to make a donation of $20 to cover the cost of 1/2 a bucket or $40 to cover an entire bucket.

RETIREMENT OPEN HOUSE FOR PAT KEGLEY - May 19, 3:00-5:00 PM - Worship Center - Stop by and celebrate Pat Kegley and her retirement from the preschool after 38 wonderful years.

STUDENT MINISTRIES SUMMER KICK OFF - MESSY GAMES! Join us Sunday, May 19 at 6 PM for our first ever Jello Games! THIS WILL BE MESSY and requires clothes that can be covered in gelatin. Kick off the summer with us in a messy and crazy way!

CONCORD COMMUNITY GARDEN OPEN HOUSE - The garden is growing like crazy and we would like for you to come see what's happening. Join us Thursday, May 23, from 5:00-7:00 PM, to learn what is going on and to see how you can become of part of this ministry. Also, roast a marshmallow, or two, over the fire pit and make a s'more! ELK GARDEN MINI MISSION TRIP - Journey to Elk Garden in Rosedale, VA, July 26-28. Teams will be working at the thrift store and community gardens doing a wide variety of tasks. Individual adults and families including children age 5 & older, are invited to participate. This Mini Mission is sponsored by the Concord United Methodist Women and the Concord Mission Ministries. COMBINED ADULT SUMMER SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES - During the summer months, several of the adult Sunday morning classes give their teachers a rest and meet together for a combined class. The class meets in the Fellowship Hall and starts at 10:00 AM. The class begins June 2 and they will be studying Christianity and World Religions.

MIDWEEK STUDY - LUNCH & LEARN - Wednesdays beginning June 19 from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM in Room 296 - Join this group as they study Reaching for the Invisible God by Philip Yancey. This class is facilitated by Glenna Manning.

WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL - Stay connected daily in devotion to God. If you would like to receive a weekly devotional delivered by email on Monday to help you with your daily study for the week, sign up at here.
