As coronavirus cases are spiking across the nation, the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) confirmed this morning that there are an additional 3,207 cases of COVID-19, setting a state record for the highest daily total since FDOH began tracking.
The city reminds all Miami Beach businesses that they are
required to follow the guidelines in place for a safe reopening
and we need you to self-enforce compliance or we will enforce/shut down businesses that are not complying if necessary.
Personal responsibility is of the utmost importance.

- Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
- Social distancing with members outside of your household
- Wearing a face covering
- Avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Avoiding close contact with people who are sick
- Covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
- Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe
- Taking personal responsibility. If you are sick with a fever, cough or viral symptoms, please stay away from others, including the work environment and crowded area
