3rd Quarter 2025

Greetings!

At the Hamilton Community Foundation, we're all in on building a stronger, more vibrant community! That’s why we’re keeping the momentum going with our nonprofit capacity-building efforts, empowering local organizations to thrive and make an even bigger impact.

Nonprofits - Take Action Now!

  1. Complete the Nonprofit Needs Assessment to be included in our Nonprofit Directory.
  2. Submit a request to be included in the inaugural 2025 Holiday Giving Hub to solicit community donations for your organization's Holiday project or program.
  3. Utilize our Grant Link program to secure grants from funders outside Butler County.

Welcome to the Nonprofit Directory

Our Nonprofit Directory highlights the nonprofit organizations making an impact in our community. You can explore organizations by category or browse the full list. Click on any listing to learn more about their mission, the people they serve, and the difference they’re making. You’ll also find direct links to support their work through online giving.

How to be included

Nonprofits who would like to be featured in the directory must complete our Needs Assessment Form. Once submitted, your organization will be added so the community can discover, connect, and give to your mission.

2025 Holiday Giving Hub

The 2025 Holiday Giving Hub connects donor-advised fundholders and the broader community directly with nonprofit organizations like yours, making it easier than ever to support meaningful projects and programs during the season of giving.

The inaugural 2025 Holiday Giving Hub is accepting nonprofit project requests from October 1 to October 21. Project requests could include funding needed for holiday food programs, holiday gifts, clothing, healthcare items, housing needs, general support, etc. Note - Requests should not exceed $5,000.

The 2025 Holiday Giving Hub will go live on our website for online donations from November 1 through December 31. Donations will be distributed to your organization at the conclusion of the 2025 Holiday Giving Hub program.

How to be included

Please contact Tracy Eads, teads@hamiltonfoundation.org, with questions and to submit a 2025 Holiday Giving Hub request. Nonprofits must opt in to our Nonprofit Directory to be included in the 2025 Holiday Giving Hub.

Nonprofit Spotlight – YWCA

The YWCA is the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world, with more than 25 million members in 122 countries—including 2 million members in 200 U.S. associations. Guided by its mission to eliminate racism and empower women, the YWCA creates spaces for women and girls, builds strong women leaders, and advocates for women’s and civil rights.

In Hamilton, the YWCA has been changing lives for 125 years. From July 2024 through June 2025, they:

  • Reached more than 66,000 people through programs and services
  • Housed 57 individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Sheltered 190 survivors of domestic and sexual violence

Sadly, the need for YWCA’s services is great. In Ohio last year:

  • 114 fatalities occurred in 85 IPV-related cases
  • 15 children and teens were killed, including 7 children murdered by a parent or step-parent
  • 5 pregnant women were murdered by their baby’s father
  • 79 minor children lost a parent, and 33 children witnessed a caregiver’s murder firsthand
  • Victims ranged from 4 months to 85 years old

On their expanded campus, YWCA Hamilton continues to be a beacon of hope by empowering youth through prevention programs, providing housing for disabled homeless individuals, and standing up for the most vulnerable.
