Tips from Teens for Facing the Daunting
It's the beginning of the school year. Much is unknown. The unknown can cause the jitters. The jitters can easily lead to worries about managing daunting tasks and situations. Encourage your child to sign up (and you too) for the first IDA-GA Teen Talk being held on Aug. 18 at 7 pm EST. SUBMIT A QUESTION when you register. Our teen board is meeting this week to preview the questions submitted so far.

Description: Learning how to stay organized, plan ahead, participate in group projects, and take tests can be daunting for any student, and it is especially important if you have learning challenges. The IDA Georgia Teen Board members will discuss how they have successfully navigated these waters throughout their school journeys.

IDA Georgia Teen Board Mission: The IDA Georgia Teen Board is in its inaugural year, and its purpose is to connect with Georgia students who have dyslexia and provide support and assistance to them during their school years.
