Dear Riverview Community,

We hope this message finds you all well! Check out these latest updates from across our district and extended Riverview Community!

Riverview TSA Students Have a State Conference to Remember!

Members of the Cedarcrest High School and Tolt Middle School TSA (Technology Student Association) clubs competed over four days at the 2023 Washington TSA State Conference in SeaTac near the end of March.

Students competed in a wide variety of events and competitions, while also making great memories and sharing experiences they will not soon forget. They also won prizes and awards (and quite a lot of them!), bringing home five first place finishes at the high school, one first place finish at the middle school level, and numerous other placements.

ATTENDANCE NOTICES THROUGH PARENTSQUARE

As part of our ongoing rollout and commitment to ParentSquare becoming a unified communication tool in Riverview, we are now enabling Auto Notices for unexcused absences through the ParentSquare platform.

Starting this week, notices of unexcused absences for students at Cedarcrest High School have been arriving at the end of each school day. This service will be extending to include Tolt Middle School and the Riverview Learning Center, with elementary schools to follow after Spring Break.

As a reminder, families are required to notify the attendance office to either excuse or verify any absences. Within the ParentSquare notification, you will find useful links that assist you in contacting the attendance office. For any additional questions, please refer to the attendance policy, located on your school’s website.
