3/17/20 - In accordance with the latest guidelines from our nation's leaders including our Florida Governor and the CDC, discretionary travel is not recommended through March 31. In addition groups over 10 people are currently banned on the beaches. Currently we have not many any decisions about vacations after April 1. We are on a day to day basis and will update you when we know more and have other options for you.

Cancellations for check-ins after April 1 currently currently fall under the normal cancellation policy. If you would like to cancel please alert me immediately so that I may open the calendars and attempt to get your week re -booked. Please keep in mind this is not set in stone. We are adjusting our policies as the new guidelines come into place. We can always become more lenient as guidelines are released. We will update you if/when this happens.

If you have purchased travel insurance check with the company you purchased through for more information on their policy. If you have not purchased insurance and are not yet paid in full you please consider doing so. Refer to your rental agreement for more information. You may also purchase through your own choice of company.

Still want to come to the beach? GREAT!
Things We are Doing to Ensure Your Safety

We already hold ourselves to a high cleaning standard, but are taking extra precautions to ensure that our homes are safe for our guests. We will be elevating our cleaning and sanitizing practices on all high touch surfaces including all switches, remote controls, knobs, etc. We normally clean all of these surfaces between each guest, but will take special care to ensure that all of these surfaces are wiped and/or sprayed with disinfecting agents between every guest. We also provide a bar soap at each of our sinks in our homes. Please ensure that your family is practicing heightened hygiene practices including washing their hands often.

Keep in mind that we also do not want to get sick. Our cleaners will be disinfecting their way into the homes to ensure their safety and yours! We are working hard to ensure that your vacations are safe!

In addition we ask that if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 that you visit a doctor and refrain from traveling with the illness. Visit the CDC website for more information.

If you experience symptoms while you are on vacation let us know as soon as possible so that we can provide you with instructions and so that our cleaners and staff can best prepare.

Do you still have groceries?

Our town is working very hard to keep food on the shelves! The Pig has announced that they are getting deliveries DAILY and restocking shelves as boxes come off the trucks. Our partners on Cape San Blas are doing very well too. Please be respectful and only buy what you need for your stay and not what you need for the next 6 months. Together we can all get through this and ensure that everyone has enough!

Are Restaurants Open?

Yes, restaurants are still open. All Florida bars are ordered to close at 5PM on March 17. Restaurants may operate at 50% occupancy and tables must be 6ft apart. Some restaurants are electing to close their dining rooms and offer Take-out or Delivery services only. Check their website or facebook page and call ahead for to-go services.

What if travel gets shut down?

I, simply put, cannot answer questions to things that haven't happened yet. We are doing our best to make decisions based on the current government guidelines and mandates. We will update you if/when your immediate vacation becomes impacted by our state or the federal government.

Information from our Rental Agreement

We do not refund for weather except mandatory evacuations. You will be refunded for mandatory evacuations nights only.
*Amendment - If you would like to cancel please alert me immediately so that I may open the calendars and attempt to get your week re-booked.
