WE SAY GOODBYE TO A FRIEND

It is with great sadness that we report the tragic passing of Andy Candelaria at age 31 as a result of an accidental choking episode on Tuesday evening. Andy was one of our original Swamp Dragons. He will always be remembered for his playful grin, his big smile, his compassionate, thoughtful heart and fun-loving personality. His positive and caring attitude played a significant part in solidifying our Tri-City Challenger “Family” philosophy. We have all been blessed by knowing “the Candy Man” and experiencing the impact he had on our lives. He will be greatly missed. Of course, our thoughts are with Laurie and Erin during this very difficult time. At our next game, we will honour “ANDEEE CAN DEE LAIR RIAAAH, THE GREATEST NAME IN ALL OF BASEBALL” by inducting him into the Tri-City Challenger’s Hall of Fame.
