General Election

Thank you to everyone who participated in the General Election. It was incredibly satisfying to see so many first-time voters--young and old!--at the polls. I'm especially grateful to our Prince George's County Board of Elections and everyone who worked at the polls during early voting and on election day. We should be very proud of how smoothly the General Election was handled in Prince George's County.

Congratulations to Prince George's County Board of Education Member-Elect for District 4, Shayla Adams-Stafford. When she is sworn in, Ms. Adams-Stafford will represent many of our Council District 3 communities and schools and I look forward to to working with her on the important issues facing our school system.

I am incredibly grateful to Bryan Swann, who was appointed to fill the vacant District 4 seat just a few months ago. During his short tenure on the Board of Education Bryan served his constituents well.
