Today, October 3rd, is a national holiday in Germany. It marks thirty years since the reunification of East and West Germany.

Research Internships in Science and Engineering
RISE Worldwide 2021

RISE stands for Research Internships in Science and Engineering. RISE Worldwide offers summer research internships across the world to German undergraduate students with academic training in biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, engineering or a closely related field. 2021 projects can be submitted online from Sept. 1 to Oct. 15, 2020. Call for Applications
Graduate Study Scholarship

Highly qualified final year undergraduate students or eligible graduates may apply for the DAAD Study Scholarship for a full Master's degree program at a German university or for study at a German university as part of a postgraduate program completed in the home country.   Apply by November 4th.

University Summer Course Grants

This program provides scholarships to attend a broad range of three- to four-week summer courses at German universities, which focus mainly on German language and literary, cultural, political and economic aspects of modern and contemporary Germany. Apply by December 1st.

Join DAAD and the Goethe Institute on Nov. 5 + 6 for US-wide virtual Career Days for high school and college students! Whether you or your students are interested in studying in Germany or wanting to hear first-hand about various career opportunities with German, representatives of German business and higher education are looking forward to answering participants' questions. This event is free, but registration is mandatory.

Graduate Scholarship Processing

We are looking for temporary help from Oct. 15 through (approx.) Dec. 31, 2020 to help process scholarship applications. Applicants should be fluent in English (plus, ideally, in German), have an interest in international higher education, be able to work with Excel, work with great attention to detail, and be available 4-5 days a week.
