Giving Wings to Cross-Border Waterfowl Conservation

Welcome to Fall Flights

Fall Flights is a powerful AFWA program designed to conserve and protect critical wetland and associated habitats in the waterfowl breeding grounds of Canada. State investments are matched by partners like Ducks Unlimited and the North American Wetland Conservation Act (NAWCA). Every state dollar generates more than four dollars of habitat conservation in Canada!

As the chairman of the Fall Flights Advisory Committee, I look forward to working with all of you in reaching our shared goal of states investing $10 million annually by 2031. Together, our investments will yield larger waterfowl populations, support a host of migratory bird species, and provide more opportunities for hunters and viewers alike to experience the magic of migration.

Watch your inbox for the short monthly Fall Flights Newsline that highlights state funding strategies, demonstrate the return on investment, celebrate state successes, and more.

Cheers,

Ryan Brown
