2023 Fall Film Festival:

First 4 Films Announced!

ImageOut is pleased to announce the first four feature films in the lineup of our 2023 Fall Film Festival, which runs October 5-15!

The Indigo Girls jukebox musical GLITTER & DOOM lights up Opening Night; get whisked into a rainbow-drenched dimension with the wild and animated UNICORN BOY; unravel the mystery at a Japanese elementary school in the Cannes-award-winning MONSTER on Closing Night; and examine the role movies play in self-discovery and cultural representation through the documentary CHASING CHASING AMY.

Join us for an ImageOut Extra Special Pedestrian Drive-In Screening of TO WONG FOO, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING! JULIE NEWMAR (1995), presented in partnership with Rochester Fringe Festival, on the evening of Monday, September 18 at One Fringe Place (100 W. Chestnut St. Rochester, NY 14604). 7:45pm showtime. Free. 13+.

About the Film: “See the first Hollywood studio movie to put drag queens front and center—where they have always belonged! In this hilarious and heartfelt comedy, three New York City drag queens (Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo) hit the road to Hollywood to compete in a beauty pageant…only to wind up stranded when their Cadillac breaks down on the outskirts of a small Midwestern town. They initially stick out in all the wrong ways, but soon the queens are teaching the residents a thing or two about guts, glitz, and glamor.”

About Pedestrian Drive-In: “2023: The Indefatigable Human Spirit - Enjoy movies outdoors at One Fringe Place! Grab a drink, a snack from a food truck, and experience a one-of-a-kind film event: outdoor movies on the big screen with personalized audio via our Silent Disco headphones. Seating is first-come, first-served. Please note: headphone use with deposit of your license/ID (to be returned upon exit).”

Those interested can contribute to the Fund in honor of Michael’s legacy and in memory of our beloved dear friend. Checks can be mailed to our office at 274 N. Goodman St., Ste.
