Dear Indian Education Community,

I am sending warm greetings from my home to yours, as we finish our 6th week of learning, teaching and working from home!

I hope you have received a phone call from your Indian Education teachers and counselors by now. We all miss our students so much, and hope you have found time to connect with family to complete the April Indian Education lessons . Keep your eyes open for a series of lessons for May, in the coming weeks.

Thank you, parents for supporting your child's Indian Education.

Be patient with each other, be safe, and stay in touch virtually!

The annual Honoring Ceremony, originally scheduled for May 15th, is being re-envisioned. We are now working to plan a virtual ceremony, coming to you, in June.

UCLA Offering ZOOM Virtual Tutoring

The American Indian Resource Center at UCLA continues to support Ventura County Indian Education students, through virtual tutoring sessions.

U.S. Census 2020
Make sure to complete the Census, as Native American communities are severely under counted. By participating in the 2020 Census Native Americans and Alaskan Natives can shape how billions of dollars in federal funds are distributed each year, for programs and grants in Native communities.
Natives need to be counted!
