2022 Update: Week of September 4th

Howdy!

The stain train is chuggin' along! After so much rain the last handful of weeks, we finally got some pockets of good weather and moved through our lineup as quickly as possible! We were able to accomplish five restoration projects since our last update and had a ton of fun while doing so! 

Our 2022 Lineup

As many of our past emails have mentioned, we operate our schedule through the use of a lineup. Considering the reliance on nice weather conditions to get work done, we have found that removing concrete dates from projects (until two weeks out) fosters a smoother experience for both you and our team.

The team completed Ben M.'s home with a beautiful coat of Q8 Log Oil in Light Gold color. Ben had some staining from an unknown source on the some of the logs and we were able to clean that up and make it look like it was never there! As always, the team loved using the Q8 product. 

The team traveled to beautiful Catawba, Virginia to work on Robert S.'s home. This project was our first with our two new team members and we had an absolute blast. Robert's home saw a coat of S.S.E. in Honey color. 

Traveling to close-by Winchester was definitely a treat to the team. Carl's home saw a coat of (guess what?) Q8 and we also installed some COBRA rods on the round corners of all the doghouse dormers. 

Last, but certainly not least is Brian S.'s home in Front Royal, VA. This unique cabin tucked in the woods saw a coat of Sherwin Williams Semi-Solid stain in the Banyan Brown color scheme. 

Next up for staining is Daniel J., followed by Walter B., then John B. 

On the prepping side, we are starting with Joe B. then moving on to Mike O. 

Let's hope this sunshine stays around and keeps the stain train movin' ahead!
