Letter from the Director

This past quarter has been another powerful season of transformation at Safe Harbor of Erin. Every day we see individuals arrive searching for hope, and through faith, structure, and community support, we witness lives being rebuilt.

Our program focuses on more than recovery, we focus on restoration. Through daily classes, mentorship, employment opportunities, and spiritual guidance, the men in our program are learning to live with purpose, responsibility, and accountability. We believe that true recovery comes not only from overcoming addiction, but from rebuilding character, strengthening faith, and learning how to live a productive and meaningful life.

One of the greatest blessings we witness is seeing men begin to believe in themselves again. Many arrive feeling broken or defeated, but through encouragement, discipline, and the support of a caring community, they begin to see a new future for themselves and their families.

None of this work would be possible without the dedication of our staff, the generosity of our donors, and the support of our community partners who believe in second chances. Your support allows us to continue providing a safe environment where real change can take place.

We are also excited to announce our Annual Safe Harbor Golf Tournament, a 4-man scramble taking place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Forest Hill Golf Course in Drummonds, Tennessee. This event is a great opportunity for our community to come together, have fun, and support the life-changing work happening at Safe Harbor. We invite you to participate, sponsor, or help spread the word as we continue building stronger connections within our community.

As we move forward, we remain committed to helping every individual who walks through our doors find hope, healing, and a renewed purpose in life.

Above all, we recognize that true transformation comes through faith. We have seen firsthand how God can take broken lives and turn them into stories of redemption, purpose, and hope. Every life changed here is a reminder that no one is beyond restoration. With God’s guidance and the support of our community, we will continue this mission of helping men rebuild their lives and walk forward in faith toward a brighter future.

Thank you for standing with us as we continue to serve those seeking a new beginning.

Paul Garner

Director, Safe Harbor of Erin

Client of the Quarter - M.B.

“My name is Michael. I came straight from prison to Safe Harbor of Erin. I’ve been in other halfway houses before, but this is the best one I’ve experienced.

Safe Harbor isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a place where real change can happen if you’re willing to do the work. The new addition to the facility shows that they truly care about the people here and are willing to invest in us. That makes you feel like you matter, and it motivates you to push yourself to do better.

Because of this environment, I am learning how to live the right way, take responsibility for my actions, and stay free from addiction. I’m gaining structure, discipline, and learning to think before I act.

I am grateful for the opportunity to be here and for the changes taking place in my life. For the first time, I can see a future that doesn’t involve going back to jail. I see a future where I can work, be responsible, and live a completely different kind of life.”

Staff of the Quarter - Chase Brown

Safe Harbor of Erin is proud to recognize Chase Brown as our Staff of the Quarter.

Chase graduated from the program on March 11, 2025, and has since become a full-time staff member who consistently demonstrates what true transformation and commitment look like. His journey from client to staff is a powerful example of the impact of this program and the opportunities that come from dedication and growth.

Chase is known for his dependability and strong work ethic. He shows up ready to serve each day, takes initiative, and can always be counted on to handle responsibilities with professionalism and care. His willingness to step in wherever needed and go the extra mile does not go unnoticed.

What truly sets Chase apart is the way he connects with the men in the program. He is genuine, approachable, and encouraging, and he uses his own experience to guide others in a meaningful way. He understands the challenges they face because he has walked that same path, and he never forgets where he came from.

Chase continues to be a positive example of growth, accountability, and service. We are grateful to have him on our team and proud of the role he plays in helping others find success in their recovery journey.

Congratulations, Chase, and thank you for all that you do!

Partner of the Quarter - Jones Plastic

On behalf of Safe Harbor of Erin, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and recognize Jones Plastics of Camden, Tennessee as our Partner of the Quarter.
