Exhibition Re-Opens July 7

The Sondheim Artscape Prize Finalist Exhibition, on display at the Walters Art Museum, will re-open to the public Wednesday, July 7. The exhibition closed to the public while the Walters Art Museum completed necessary work on its buildings.

The Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival
|

Join the residents of Cherry Hill for the 5th Annual Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival on Sunday, July 4. Once again, the festival will be held virtually. following guidance and instruction from local and state authorities. The festival is free and open to the public.
“Water Has No Enemy” is the theme of this year’s festival. It is based on a West African Yoruba proverb that emphasizes society’s obligation to protect, conserve, and care for water for the sake of human survival.

Become a panel reviewer for the Baltimore City Arts Council!
|

The Arts Council utilizes panels to review and evaluate our grant applications. The panels are made up of creatives and professionals who have expertise in various arts disciplines. Applications for panelists are accepted year-round. Stipends for panel reviewers are available and dependent upon the budget of each grant program.

The artist studios offer the opportunity to work and create in one of Baltimore’s most unique historic buildings.
With up to 300 square feet of space, the studios are spacious enough for private practice so that artists may work safely and socially distanced while still connected to a community of fellow creatives: painters, performers, photographers and more.
BOPA offers these studios as a safe space of creativity so that artists, and our creative community, may continue to thrive.

Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar
Now Open Every Sunday

The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar has beloved elements like hot food vendors and the Bazaar’s artisans in a limited capacity, after offering a food-only market throughout the 2020 season. The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar continues maintaining public health regulations to provide a safe experience for all.
The 44th season is scheduled to run weekly, 7am to 12pm on Sundays, through December 19, 2021, with continuous adaptation to maintain health and safety.
