Helping Small Business During COVID-19
Message from the President: Make It Virtual!
Yesterday, BACC conducted its first Virtual Networking Group Meetings. The Chamber’s role is to be the “great connector,” so quarantine or not, we can still make networking happen!

For members who have felt isolated and alone, virtual meetings are a productive way to check in with other professionals from your home. The current health crisis is pushing us all to use technology in creative ways to operate our businesses. During our meetings yesterday we heard about: Virtual house tours, electronic home closings, video conferencing with staff – and more. When you adapt your business model to the changing world, it’s a win! Zoom is just one platform, there's also GoToMeetings and Google Hangouts.

On Friday, March 27, at 10:00 a.m., BACC will conduct its first “Virtual Coffee Break” using the Zoom format. If you are interested, email me at for an invite. We will limit the participation to 20 people. Let’s check in and see how you are doing.

And in a world of text messages and online communications, we are finding the most effective outreach right now is an old-fashioned phone call. People appreciate hearing your voice. So, make some calls! -- Suzanne Corr, BACC President
