COVID-19 Update
The City of Brampton is working hard to protect the health and wellbeing of our community – we thank you for all the safety precautions you are taking during this very difficult time. Stay-at-home orders remain in place to help the spread of the virus.
At this time, organized indoor and outdoor public events or social gatherings are not permitted. In-store shopping is reduced to 25 per cent in retail settings, including at supermarkets, grocery stores, convenience stores, indoor farmers' markets, other stores that primarily sell food and pharmacies. The majority of non-essential retailers can operate for curbside pick-up and delivery, via appointment. Outdoor garden centres and plant nurseries, and indoor greenhouses permitted to be open with a 25 per cent capacity limit and a restriction on hours of operation. [more...]

Brampton Animal Services Adopts Facial Recognition Technology to Help Find Missing Pets
Brampton Animal Services has partnered with Petco Love Lost, an innovative pet facial recognition technology to reunite lost pets with their families. Free and easy to use, citizens can upload a photo of their pet, or one that they may have found. These photos are scanned to determine whether the lost pet is at a participating shelter or with a neighbour in the community. [more...]

Homeowners must check if their contractor is licensed by City of Brampton. List is available online.
- If it’s a DIY project, check with the City to confirm maximum width of driveway and if you need a curb cut permit.
- Contractors and driveway sealers must complete online training with the City before being licensed.
