Wreaths Across America

LEARN MORE

On December 17, Mayor Debbie Kling joined Nampa Chamber of Commerce representatives along with other businesses, families of veteran’s and the community as a whole for the National Wreaths Across America Day at Kohlerlawn Cemetery. Mayor Kling participated by placing two wreathes on the graves of relatives who served in our nation’s military. The goal of the national event is to place a wreath on the grave of every veteran this time of year as a sign of respect and recognition of their service. This year the Daughters of the American Revolution, who organized the event for the second year, helped raise funds to place 467 wreaths. Thank you to those who donated wreaths to make this possible.
