March is DD Awareness Month
The Cuyahoga County Board of DD encourages everyone to help create a more inclusive community. We all have a role in making sure people with disabilities are welcomed, respected and given equal opportunity to enjoy all the community has to offer.

March 5 is DD Awareness and Advocacy Day
You can watch the celebration at the Ohio Statehouse via live-stream on Tuesday, March 5 from 10-11 AM. Guest speakers include: Governor DeWine, Ohio Dept. of DD Director Jeff Davis, Disability Cocoon Founder Dustin Wright and many other inspirational DD advocates and champions.

Cuyahoga County Board of DD sells Forest Hill Center to McGregor PACE

The Cuyahoga County Board of DD sold its Forest Hill Center to McGregor PACE, a senior care provider which owns adjacent property. This facility, located on Private Drive in East Cleveland and owned by Cuyahoga County, has been used as office space for Board of DD employees since 2009.

Playhouse Square is proud to present a sensory-friendly performance of Disney’s The Lion King on Saturday, August 31 at 1:30 PM. This performance is intended for individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism spectrum disorders and other sensory, social and cognitive challenges or issues. Family and friends are encouraged to experience the show together.
