Two DD provider agencies selected to assume operations of the Adult Activities Centers
After an extensive and competitive process, CCBDD's Board approved at its July 25, 2019 meeting to enter into an arrangement with two DD provider agencies to assume operations of the eight Adult Activities Centers (AACs) effective January 6, 2020. The two agencies are Solutions At Work, Inc. (SAW) and Vocational Guidance Services. Both intend to offer Adult Day Supports (activities) and Vocational Habilitation (piecework) according to the following:

AACs to be operated by SAW: Beachwood, East Cleveland, Euclid, Maple Heights, Parma and Rocky River

AACs to be operated by VGS: Brooklyn and Southwest

2018 Annual Report now available

T he Cuyahoga County Board of DD proudly serves over 12,000 people with developmental disabilities of all ages each year. Each year, there is an increasing number of people requesting services and supports, including a 4.5% increase in the number of people served in 2018.

ADA Day at Wade Oval Wednesday (WOW)
rescheduled for August 7

Join the Cuyahoga County Board of DD and many other community agencies for Cleveland's annual celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This year's event was rescheduled due to the weather and will now be held on August 7 at Wade Oval in University Circle. This event is free. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
