Thanks to your support of the annual Catholic Communication Campaign, throughout the COVID-19 Crisis the Communications Office of the Diocese of Providence was able to remain open and in touch with the faithful of Rhode Island and beyond, providing:
- weekly emails with vital information & updates
- prayerful support from Bishop Tobin
- how to get help during the pandemic
- how to give to the needy at this crucial time
- domestic violence resources
- schedule of Holy Masses being streamed on the web
- timely spiritual and informational videos
- access to our diocesan newspaper, the Rhode Island Catholic, online
We've also continued to communicate via:
- social media platforms
- our diocesan website
- "live" via video conferences, phone, email, social media messaging, and text
Your generosity has allowed our ministry to remain active and relevant during this unprecedented time in the history of our Church.
Your past donation helped us to share, support and inform our fellow Rhode Islander's before and throughout this crisis - - including the faithful, parishioners, those in need, and the public.
As expected, support of the 2020 Catholic Communication Campaign is more vital now than ever. We hope we can rely on your support, no matter how small, to help us to continue to share the good news and the Gospel message.
50% of the funds raised stay right here in the Diocese of Providence to support local communications projects as mentioned above. The other 50% supports national communications efforts as well as projects in developing countries.
Thank you in advance for your support and may God bless and care for you and yours as we continue navigate this crisis.
