Dear Partners,
The Mayor’s Fund team is excited to begin our work with our new Board of Directors. Our Board reflects the working people at the heart of New York City, and we will collaborate together in advancing the Mayor’s signature affordability agenda.
The Mayor also announced the Child Care Action Fund, which will raise $20 million by the end of the year. The Child Care Action Fund’s ultimate goal is to help ensure free, high-quality early care and education for every child under five in New York City, delivered in a range of culturally competent care settings with educators and caregivers who are trained, respected, and fairly compensated. This marks the first of several new priorities we’ll be focused on in the months ahead!
As the Mayor said last week, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. New York City, let's show the rest of the world what it looks like when we can go far together.” The Mayor’s Fund team looks forward to partnering with you as we make this city the best it can be for all New Yorkers.

Thank you!
