Delta Independent Science Board, and more

The Delta Stewardship Council’s monthly meetings are the definitive place for the public to learn about and comment on the implementation of the Delta Plan.

Our next meeting will be held on April 25, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM, at the Oakley Recreation Center (1250 O’Hara Avenue, Oakley, CA 94561).

Among other agenda items, the Council will hear from staff on the status of the (newly renamed) Draft Tribal and Environmental Justice Issue Paper and the Draft 2023 Delta Plan Five-Year Review; Delta Independent Science Board Chair Dr. Lisa Wainger on the Board’s current activities and reviews on food webs, subsidence, and decision-making under deep uncertainty; and the Metropolitan Water District on their activities on islands they own in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Additionally, the Council may appoint the next Delta lead scientist.
