Hello Stephanie,
Happy Spring! With March 19th signaling the end of winter and March 20th marking the official start of spring, I don't think I'm alone in welcoming the longer, warmer days ahead.
I hope you all had an enjoyable St. Patrick's Day, and celebrated safely and with close family and friends.
Additionally, I'd like to extend warm wishes to those who celebrated Purim last weekend. Chag Purim sameach! May this joyous occasion bring happiness and unity to all who observe.
While this week I was back in our great district and able to have meetings with stakeholders right here in our community, I spent last week at the State Capitol continuing the work of the people. I had the privilege of leading multiple committee meetings as the chair of the Personnel and Pensions Committee. Together, we're making progress on passing laws that will improve the lives of all Illinoisans, however, there is still more work to be done. As we navigate the legislative process, your input and support remain invaluable. Stay engaged, stay informed, and together, let's keep striving for positive change.
If you enjoyed spring break while school was out of session, I hope it was an enjoyable one. Wishing everyone a happy Easter this Sunday.

Take care and be well,
