This month’s Employee Spotlight is on Sally Pezzi, Intake Specialist

Sally Pezzi has given a true standout job performance this year. Sally is on the front lines, and is often the first impression someone has when calling HK. Sally receives all inquiries, greets potential clients (most of whom are in distress and are facing high conflict issues), conducts conflicts checks and works closely with our team of 15 family law attorneys on scheduling new legal consultations. During Covid19, our call volume has nearly tripled and Sally has handled the sharp increase with grace and with the utmost level of professionalism. Sally stepped in to this newly created position in 2019 and has stepped up in a big way over the course of just one year. We appreciate her now, more than ever before . Thank you for an amazing job well done Sally!

We are delighted to introduce Karl S. Nastrom, the newest addition to our team of family law attorneys. Karl has practiced family law since 2013, primarily in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. He advised and represented clients in negotiations, contested hearings, and trials related to child custody, child support, domestic violence restraining orders, alimony, establishment of paternity, marital dissolution, division of marital property, and premarital agreements.  Welcome aboard Karl!

Please consider joining us and our Community Partner, Narika, for Narika’s Virtual Annual Gala on Sunday, September 27th 2020. This year has been a challenging time as COVID-19 strained many marriages beyond repair. We witnessed an increase in inquiries for divorces, as well as instances of domestic violence issues as victims have been stuck at home with their abusers. Narika provides domestic violence (DV) services to women of immigrant communities. They desperately need assistance as call volume has tripled and resources are falling woefully short in meeting the demand to support victims of DV. We hope to “see” you there!
