Summer 2021
SCAC Back In Person, on Summer Schedule
SCAC is now welcoming neighbors back into the pantry on the third floor of the Educare building.

Now that school is out for the summer, we are open every other week. In June, we were open on the 7th and 21st.

In July, we will be open on the 5th and the 19th. In August, we will be open on the 2nd and 16th.

Please watch our website and Facebook page for announcements regarding school supplies and the back to school schedule.
Pastor Driven Food Drives Continue
Halfway through 2021, the efforts of the Springboro Pastors Association are bearing fruit - canned fruit, that is, along with MANY other items.

The Association pledged to hold a food drive every month during the year to collect needed items for the SCAC inventory. Drives have been held at St. Francis Episcopal Church, Southwest Church, Springboro United Church of Christ, Fairhaven Church, First United Methodist and Covenant Presbyterian.

The July food drive will be hosted by Christ Church - South Campus on July 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 10227 State Route 48, Centerville.

Christ Church is also collected school supplies every Sunday from July 4 through Aug. 1. Their goal is to stuff 450 backpacks with supplies ranging from pens and pencils to scientific calculators. One hundred of the backpacks will be donated to SCAC.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
We are so grateful for every donation that helps us with the increased demand we have seen due to the COVID-19 crisis. In addition to our amazing churches, two other groups deserve highlighting.

Five Points Elementary School held another food drive to close out their school year. Counselors Amy Stumpfl and Angie Duncan loaded up three vehicles with help from Asst. Principal Jamie Lierly. Thank you Five Points families!!!

The Rosko Group sent staff over to help unpack, date and sort donations one day in June. They got a lot done for us! Thank you!
Best Wishes to Our Wonderful Founder!
Heartfelt Congratulations and Best Wishes to our founder and favorite Wendy Grothjan (formerly known as Wendy Ford) and her new hubby Ryan!

Wendy says she will answer to either last name - for now. We are so, so happy for Wendy. She is not only our leader, but absolutely beautiful inside and out and such an inspiration.

Many, many happy years to a wonderful couple!

If you give from a bank account instead of a credit card, there are no fees! (We pay the fees which reduces your donation.) And it's secure!

Thanks to everyone who has already donated through PayPal and who set up recurring donations! We appreciate you!
