Please join us in welcoming Bri to the Florida Trail Association! Bri serves as our new Community Engagement Manager, a newly created role focused on strengthening FTA’s connection with our members, volunteers, and partners.
In this position, Bri will oversee FTA’s membership program, events, merchandise, chapter activities, photo and video collection, trail user support, and chapter marketing efforts. She’ll also support the Executive Director’s fundraising initiatives and the Communications Manager’s outreach and education efforts.
A lifelong outdoor adventure enthusiast, Bri brings over two decades of leadership experience from her time as Executive Director and Program Director at a camp and retreat center in East Tennessee. With a “challenge accepted” spirit, she loves connecting people with the outdoors through enthusiasm, service, and adventure.
Originally from North Carolina, Bri holds a degree from UNC Greensboro and certificates in Non-Profit Business Management and Outdoor Ministries. She’s an avid paddler, athlete, and wildlife educator — known for her fun facts about misunderstood animals like snakes and opossums. Bri has also fostered over 250 dogs and once paddled 236 miles in 30 days to support public lands (and won first place!).
Now based in Gainesville with her Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog mix, Snap, Bri is always ready for her next adventure — whether it’s on the water, on the trail, or somewhere entirely new.
Welcome to the team, Bri!
