2025 Holiday Giving Hub Update

In 2025, we introduced the Holiday Giving Hub, a new seasonal giving opportunity designed to connect donors directly with nonprofit organizations during the season of giving. The Hub made it easier for donors to respond to real, timely needs identified by local nonprofits like yours.

The Holiday Giving Hub was live on our website from November 1 through December 31, serving as an online platform for holiday giving. At the conclusion of the program, donated funds were distributed to participating nonprofit organizations to support meaningful projects and essential services across our community.

Thank you for being part of this new initiative and for the important work you do every day. Looking ahead, we plan to build on this model with a Summer Giving Hub, offering another opportunity for nonprofits to share timely needs and for donors to give throughout the year. More details will be shared in the coming months.

Nonprofit Spotlight – Boys & Girls Club

For nearly 75 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hamilton has been a trusted partner for youth and families across our community, providing safe, welcoming spaces where children and teens can learn, grow, and thrive. As part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America movement, the Clubs focus on helping young people build great futures through positive relationships, high-quality programs, and caring adult mentors.

In response to growing community need, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hamilton has expanded from two to five Club locations in recent years, now serving more than 2,700 youth and teens annually through Club programming and community outreach. The work centers on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development, ensuring every young person has the tools, confidence, and support needed to succeed in school and in life.

Club Locations & Programs

Programs are offered at five locations across the community: the Grand Club (East End), East Club (Jefferson), Highland Club (Highland Elementary), Linden Club (Linden Elementary), and Winton Woods Club (Winton Woods Middle School in Forest Park). Across all sites, youth receive academic support through Project Learn, enrichment activities, leadership development, and trauma-informed programming led by trained, caring staff. Each Club is designed to be a safe place where young people feel supported, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Heart of an Angel Gala

Community members are invited to attend the Heart of an Angel Gala on February 28 at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, an evening celebrating youth achievements and honoring 2026 Angel Award recipients Cindy and Mike Dingeldein for their outstanding commitment to young people.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at bgchamilton.org, and donations in support of this work are always welcome. For more information about the Gala or getting involved, contact Tommy John.

Cheers to 75 Years!

Community Investment in Action with Tracy Eads

Tracy Eads, Community Investment Officer, recently stopped by to connect with Cindy Hogg from the City of Hamilton Health Department, a recipient of a Health Services Grant supporting the Healthy Living Initiative. This initiative helps provide equipment and supplies that promote nutrition education, increased physical activity, and healthy behavior programs for individuals and families across the Hamilton community.

Whether she's learning about a new initiative or helping match resources to needs, Tracy is committed to helping communities thrive. If she hasn't had a chance to meet your organization yet, she's looking forward to it!
