May is BayState Bike Month! Now that the temps are starting to warm up a bit, it’s time to get the bikes out of storage, and start logging some bicycling trips in the friendly state-wide company and municipal challenge known as the
MassCommute Bicycle Challenge
.
Simply register and log your bike trips May 11

Then, spend the weekend logging some longer recreational rides and you’re be well on your way to racking up the miles!
New to bike commuting or could use a few refresher tips?
Join
the NSMTA and the Beverly Bike Committee for a bike commuter workshop at the Beverly Bike Shop, 132 Dodge St #1, Beverly, near the N. Beverly train station on Weds, May 15
th
from 6-7:30pm. We’ll have an informal panel discussion about bike commuting any distance from 1-20+ miles, go over some maintenance tips, and if there’s interest, ride a few tricky intersections together for practice.
