Dear Colleagues,

The nomination cycle for the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute's Advisory Committee is currently open. Since 2021, the committee has existed to help amplify the voice of the research institute community. Its primary charge is to provide suggestions and strategies for improving the direction of Manne Research Institute. Nominations are accepted through April 7. The election cycle will take place April 10–14.

Nomination Details

Who is eligible to serve on the committee?

All Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute community members who have completed at least one year of employment at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

What is the composition of the committee?

The committee will comprise members representing all four pillars of Manne Research Institute. Each pillar will be represented by a faculty and staff dyad.

How will members be seated on the committee?

Members will be seated on the committee through a nomination and voting process. Individuals can self-nominate through the form below and will be asked to complete a short questionnaire about their interest in the committee. The biographies will be shared with the research community, a vote will be initiated, and the nominee with the most votes will win the seat.

Who can vote?

All members of Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute can vote.

How long is a term of service?

Two years
