Dear Church Family,

I am writing with an important update about the location and format of our upcoming worship on Christmas Eve and December 26.

Public health advice to faith communities has changed rapidly this week, especially since the CDC announced that Omicron is now more prevalent in our region than previously understood. On Monday we were encouraged to proceed with any plans that we had laid for Christmas Eve and consider major adjustments for the Second Sunday of Christmas, but now it seems the best way forward is for us to hold both Christmas Eve services outdoors. Worship on Sunday, December 26 will be online only.

I hope you will join us, either for our worship pageant at 5 p.m. on the lawn with children, or for our 7 p.m. Service of Lights in the portico. There will be plenty of room for all to gather outdoors. Luminaries will shine as light in the darkness. Christmas punch and hot chocolate will bring holiday cheer.

O Come, All Ye Faithful!
