We started off the first week of June by welcoming 4 new families.

 Our new arrivals have landed from Syria, Guatemala and Venezuela. We are thrilled to have them here and look forward to helping them settle into their new life here. 

We are already expecting 10 more families in the next week!

Food Pantry is This Saturday!

As our families are moved into permanent housing, there are still many household essentials/supplies that are needed. In order to ease the moving process, we are working to create Welcome Packages with household essentials such as kitchenware and bedding. One full kit is estimated to be at $165. If you would like to help, please contact us.

Zakat Program Updates

Our Zakat Program, led by brother Hassan has been committed to assisting families in need. We have been able to successfully support families facing eviction notices, struggling to pay utilities, domestic violence cases and much more. In this past month, over 250 individuals were supported through our Zakat program. 



Are you interested in assisting with Housing for Refugees?

One of our current, biggest challenges is finding affordable housing for our families.

Because newly arrived individuals do not have a stable income, credit score or cosigners, they are not like traditional housing applicants. 

If you are able to help in any way with housing related needs, whether it be providing a place to stay, or assistance in locating places, please contact Noura, our Housing Case Manager. 

Refugee Tutoring Program

Our Volunteer Tutors are an essential part of helping refugee kids with school work and cultivating a mentorship.

We just wrapped up our program, successfully assisting 35 children with our team of 20 amazing tutors.

Our next session will begin in August, for the new school year. If you would like to volunteer as a tutor please contact Brother Hassan.
